“When we invite music into our everyday life, we give it life. In return, it embellishes our own.”

Alexandre Bougie is an accomplished guitarist from the Ottawa region who wishes to transmit his love of music and guitar through both teaching and performance.

Alex began his studies in guitar at the age of 12. His strong passion for the instrument compelled him to graduate from his Bachelor’s (magna cum laude) and Master’s degree in classical guitar performance under the tutelage of renowned performer and composer Patrick Roux.

Notably, he has performed at the National Arts Centre, la Nouvelle Scène Gilles Desjardins, the Shenkman Arts Centre, the Rialto Theatre as well as the Conservatoire de Musique de Gatineau.
